Standing split used to be my least favorite pose. I dreaded when it when I knew it was coming up in routines. I was open about how I hated it. Why did I hate it so much? Because I couldn’t do it “properly”! Just because you can’t get into a certain pose with ease NOW, doesn’t mean you never will. Practice makes improvement and now this is one of my favorite poses to practice. :)
