ah, i had an AMAZING yoga practice
i don’t know what made it so great today, but i really enjoyed myself. it was just a great flow.
Got three minutes? Challenge yourself to a three minute plank!
I chose the forearm version. You don’t have to watch the whole video of me planking for three minutes, but I did it! I kept having to put movement into it at the end to keep me going. Those last 30 seconds were tough. So try it out too : )
Pretty much the best my crow has ever been! :) I’ve never had my knees up so high, it’s a good feeling. i don’t think it can get much better.
yoginlove asked: I've done Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown & p90x yoga but i'm in dire need of some new (easy) dvds/videos to do. I just got over being seriously ill and doing no exercise so i'm back to square one. But, I want to do yoga every day again. Suggestions?
any of these channels will be greatly beneficial.

i’m sure you can scope out some routines that seem right for you! tara stiles has amazing beginner routines, but so does sadie nardini! sadie is great for core strength, though i might add. as for the jillian michael’s yoga and p90x yoga… i’m not really a fan, and wouldn’t recommend those. but, that’s just my personal opinion. it’s only because i feel like they make yoga way to strenuous, and fail to focus on meditation, breathing, and listening to yourself in your practice. toning your body is a great benefit of yoga, but it shouldn’t be the only thing making you want to get on your mat. xo
Anonymous asked: I want to start doing yoga more often. I have done it some in the past, but haven't recently. Any recommendations/sites/videos or places I can go to find some beginning yoga routines?

just search through these videos and look for anything with beginner, flexibility, or even strength building. hold back on anything too challenging for you now, you never want to push yourself in yoga. always, always take the modification. you will progress so much faster. enjoy your practice! xo
oh so sore
at least my arms! yoga is tough! :) all those inversions and arm balances i love too much start to take their tole! i was in downdog earlier, and it felt too uncomfortable… something that never happens unless i’m worn out. so, after around 40 minutes of practice, i traded in my soothing music for some upbeat dance songs. i danced for 30 minutes and let my legs work for once! :P i feel so good still! dancing is such a great stress relief, and actually seems to give me back the energy i was lacking! i’ll follow up with some relaxing yoga later tonight… gotta stretch out my arms and now especially my legs! it’ll feel so good. turned a potently lazy day into a great one, success.
