it was amazing, as always. i had a lot of solid jumps into handstands, regular handstands, and arm balances / inversions! lots of standing pose sequences as well! but, in the middle of my yoga practice i grabbed my yoga blocks and decided to work on my jumps. it. is. so. hard. i praise those yogis who can do it without blocks. when i say jumps i mean jumping from downward-facing dog threw your arms and holding your legs up straight out or crossed. it requires A LOT of arm and core strength. i’m excited to practice these everyday to build up my strength, and eventually i can remove the blocks. for now, i’m thankful they’re there. it may take months or a year. but, i’m living proof you can build up from nothing eventually. so i’m okay to take my time!
