i’m officially in love with larabars. i remember trying them when i was a bit younger and i couldn’t stand them but, apparently my taste buds have changed because i can already tell i’m going to be addicted! i can’t wait to try more flavors. i’m also going to pick up a few luna bars too, i used to love them when i was younger but apparently i just stopped eating them,...

all the songs are very, very special to me. they are also all AMAZING. but, they bring me back to last summer, past relationships, and times when i was happier. for a few songs, all it takes is the first few chords and it makes me start to cry. music is so important to me so, i’m sharing the songs that fill me with nostalgia. so click nostalgia ;) and get a feel for my past!

so my mom bought decaf coffee so i’ve been without coffee all week and i ran out of black tea and green and white tea don’t have as much caffeine and i’m slowly going to die until we get some back in this house.

yoga related rant
it bothers me when people use yoga as way to lose weight, and only to lose weight or work out. yes, yoga will tone your body. yes, you can lose weight. but, i think the practice of yoga should be looked at as something more than just a quick “work-out”. to me, it a time dedicated to just improving, expanding, and focusing on your breathing, mind, and body. it doesn’t have to be...

resting today!
i woke up so early and couldn’t fall back asleep so i’m even more exhausted! i’m so sore from doing over four or almost four hours of yoga for four days straight.
i decided to rest every fours days unless i can handle more :) i think that’s reasonable for my body to repair so i’m ready to go for another four-five days.
i’m going to make myself some green tea...

so i’m already looking forward to waking up and doing some yoga tomorrow morning :) this is a good thing! i got tara stiles’ dvd in the mail today and it has an hour long “calorie-burning” routine and i’ve done all the moves before, so it was easy for me to follow, but… it was challenging. it was a lot to continuously do without breaks but i felt great after....

i need to take the next step
i need to stop counting my calories. i need to stop measuring my food.
it actually scares me how foreign that seems now.
i never used to measure ANYTHING unless i really needed to… now the idea of spreading peanut butter without scooping out a proper teaspoon is like… anxiety inducing.
sigh. i need to gradually build up to doing this. i want to be normal. i can be normal. right?

i need to relax. i’ve went longer without resting, but i’ve done over 3 hours of yoga, and an hour and a half (or longer) of that were really challenging sequences, so i’ve been working the same muscles so hard four days straight, it gets to me :/ i could do an easy couple hours but, i don’t think that’ll help. i don’t want to risk injuring...

okay so, i did some yoga poses that help with neck pain, and it really worked! yoga cures everything :)
so i just did a lil’ over an hour and twenty minutes of challenging routines and just ate a protein bar and now i’m downing a liter of water. so thirsty. need hydration. i’ll do an hour later tonight so i’ll be doing a little over three hours today, which puts me at...
